This wine is a limited edition commemorating the 50th anniversary of El Coto de Rioja and a tribute to the origins and the pioneer winemakers in Rioja. Inspired by their craft in combining the best from the different areas of the region, the wine is a blend of grapes coming from three of their own vineyards, each representing one of the three sub-zones within the DOCa Rioja. Aged 18 months in new American oak barrels, the wine is then bottle-aged for at least 18 months for added elegance and refinement.
