Champagne Gosset based in Aÿ is the oldest wine house in Champagne (1584). Since 1993, the business has been in the ownership of the Cointreau family. Gosset are the proud owners of Grand Cuvée vineyards and source their grapes from a network of growers in Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. The Gosset wines are matured for much longer than legally required, which, along with the suppression of malolactic fermentation, helps to create the wines’ distinctive depth of flavour.
The palate is structured while being in this constant of balance between tension of freshness and roundness of fruity. It is dominated by the pulpy red fruit such as wild strawberry (cream or coulis) providing a soft and enveloping sensation.
